To keep up with the latest club news, please click here. Frampton Cotterell Dog Training Club is a not for profit voluntary organisation based in Frampton Cotterell near Bristol, South Gloucestershire. It is dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership and follows guidance from The Kennel Club. We undertake weekly training sessions from beginners to more advance levels and regularly run The Good Citizen Dog Scheme bronze, silver and gold awards. For more details please visit our Training Class page. All of our trainers have been trained by the Kennel Club for the GCDS and we have all undertaken a dog first aid course. Families are welcomeWe encourage everyone who is involved in walking, playing or lounging around with your dog to come to classes. Children are always keen to get involved with a new pup - by teaching them how to communicate with their dog, you'll find less mishaps occurring along the way and gain more enjoyment from your new family member. Dogs need a consistent style, tone and body language to follow, especially in the early days, so all the family need to learn the rules too. |
